Setting up the MAXIFY Printer for use on a Wireless LAN

The printer may be set up for usage on a Wi-Fi (Wireless) network quickly and easily using the Cableless setup technique. To set up the printer, adhere to the steps listed below. This technique may be used to install a printer for the first time, to add the printer to more computers on the network, to reconnect to the network following router or network changes, and more.
Start Cableless Setup on the printer.

1. Press the printer’s HOME button (A).
If an error screen appears, choose OK before pressing the HOME button.
2. Swipe left or right on the screen, then hit LAN settings.
3. Tap Wireless LAN configuration.
4. Click Cableless setup.
5. Click OK.

Run the Setup Program
1. Visit the Setup page, peruse the material, then either place the Setup CD-ROM in the computer’s CD Drive or click the Download option to download the setup file.
2. Click Run or, if using the Setup CD-ROM, click Run Msetup4.exe when the file has finished downloading.
3. Tap om start setup.
4. Keep following the directions displayed on the screen. To proceed, make sure you click Yes on the License Agreement.
5. Keep following the directions displayed on the screen. Select Wireless LAN Connection on the Select Connection Method box and then click Next.

6. Select Wireless Router to Connect (recommended). Choose Next.7. Keep following the directions displayed on the screen. Choose the printer to be used (check by serial number*) on the Select Printer page and then click Next.
7. Keep following the directions displayed on the screen. Choose the printer to be used (check by serial number*) on the Select Printer page and then click Next.
*Just the final 5 digits will be seen.
8. Now, drivers will be set up.
9. On the Setup Complete screen, click Next after selecting Next on the Test Print Window.
10. Select any optional software you want to install from the Software Installation List. Choose Next.
11. User registration can be avoided or finished. If you’re finishing the registration, follow all the procedures.
12. Click on Exit.
