Step 1: Remove the printer from the box
By country or location, the contents may change. A list of the things sent in the package may be seen on the packaging.
Remove any tape, stickers, and other packaging materials from the printer and take it out of the box.
NOTE: Your printer already has a toner cartridge inserted in it. The toner cartridge in the printer doesn’t need to be removed. |
- Take the printer out of the packaging.
- Remove the film from the printer control panel after removing all tape and packaging materials from the printer’s exterior.
- The packaging should be recycled.
Step 2: Load plain paper in the main input tray
Fill the primary input tray with plain paper, such as A4.
- Slide out the paper width guides as far as feasible, then lower the door to the main input tray.

- With the print side facing up and the top edge going toward the printer, load up to 200 sheets of paper. Pre-punched paper should be loaded with the holes towards the tray’s left side if you’re using that method.
